Not legal, medical, or financial advice
Guides on HIPAA, GDPR, HR files, banking screenshots, and similar topics describe practical habits for covering pixels. They are not legal advice, compliance advice, or a substitute for counsel in your country.
A blur is not always irreversible
Soft blur and pixelate keep a degraded form of the original pixels. Short strings such as one-time codes, phone numbers, and card digits can sometimes be guessed back. Use a solid black bar for those, or crop them out of the file. Always open the download at full size before you send it.
You are responsible for what you share
Files you open stay on your device. I do not receive them. I am not liable for a region you missed, a file you attached by mistake, or what happens after the export leaves your computer.
Ads and third-party content
Some article pages may show Google AdSense ads after you accept cookies. I do not control the ads themselves. Official Microsoft, Apple, Google, or Mozilla videos linked from a guide belong to those publishers, not to BlurThis.
